Bob Short is a talented multi-instrumentalist known for his unique music and sound. With contributions to seven Jasmine Tea albums and collaborations with music legends, his work is a journey worth exploring. His upcoming album, I Want To Live On Mars, is set to release on January 24, 2026. I Want To Live On Mars features eight original tracks, including an exciting lead single and a high-energy EDM version of the track. The album also pays homage to Short’s influences through curated covers of John Lennon’s 'How' and The Doors’ 'Riders on the Storm.' 'This album is a personal journey,' says Short. 'After years of recording with the band, I wanted to explore my own songs and sounds. My music is bolder and edgier than Jasmine Tea.' Recent influences include The Strokes, Modest Mouse, Backseat Lovers, Vampire Weekend, and more.
